CSAA to Conduct Abbreviated Wage & Compensation Survey
The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) is currently conducting an abbreviated version of its Compensation, Benefits and Incentive Practices Survey. Participation is open to all central stations in the industry—both CSAA members and non-members. Company-specific information will not be published to ensure confidentiality.
Any company that participates in the survey will receive a FREE e-mailed copy of the results. Non-participants will be able to purchase the report for a fee.
The survey will include salaries and benefits for the following job categories: Central Station Manager, Central Station Supervisor, Central Station Sr. Operator, Central Station Jr. Operator, Central Station Trainee, Central Station Data Entry, Central Station Technical Support, and Central Station Trainer.
The questionnaire (spreadsheet) to capture the data can be downloaded from our Website, www.csaaintl.org or by clicking here. Completed surveys must be received by February 28, 2005.
A short review of the results will be given on Monday, May 15, 2005, 3:00pm-4:00pm during the “(OPS) Compensation and Incentive Programs (NTS 04-1315)” seminar that at the 2005 North American Security Symposium & Exhibition (NASSEX) in Montreal, Canada. The seminar will also include a discussion of the different types of compensation programs and the associated expectations and responsibilities and will explore the many options for using incentives within a department. The seminar will earn .1 NTS CEUs.

New 2005 NASSEX Site Unveiled
CSAA is pleased to announce the release of a new 2005 NASSEX site, www.nassex.com. All available meeting information is available at the site, as well as a link to on-line hotel reservation feature. A visit to the site starts with a multimedia introduction.
Other information on the site includes links to the hotel and to the Montreal Convention & Visitors Bureau, as well as information on how to become an exhibitor.
